Event comments
Join us for a walk through a unique university. Established in 1972, it is nestled among 1,300 scenic acres that include a nature and wildlife area with lakes and nature trails that are not stroller/wheelchair friendly. Dogs should be left at home. The University of North Florida enrolls 17,000 students in 50 undergraduate, 25 masters and one doctoral program. A portion of the campus is used for scientific research, and area school children visit for environmental lessons. Please visit their web site, www.unf.edu.

Restrooms and water fountains are available near the start/finish point and along the route. Fee for all walkers is $4 or use the FCTF Punch Card.

Driving to the start
Adam Herbert University Center, 12000 Alumni Dr., UNF. Take I295 N to exit 52 toward UNF Dr. Merge onto N. Fl Dr for .6 miles. Turn right onto UNF Dr. for .4 miles to Alumni Dr. Turn right onto Alumni Dr. for .2 miles to Betty Holzendorf Dr and turn right. Turn left into the parking lot for the Center. Look for our red shirts.
