Legacy Park includes playgrounds, a dog park, 6 pavilions, athletic fields, trails, and a log cabin home originally owned by the Sargent Family. It was named by Donald Yarber, a former mayor of Cottleville. "He wanted the park to serve as a legacy' to his love for public parks including a place for people to enjoy with their dogs."Cottleville is a small city in St. Charles County that was founded in 1798. The current population is listed as 5,611. It is known for being golf cart friendly. Across from Legacy Park is Frankie Martin's Garden, similar to 9 Mile Garden in St. Louis with food trucks, as well as a large selection of wines, whiskies, and beers from the best breweries in Missouri. There are a variety of other dining options as well. Both the 5k and 10k walks will explore a part of downtown Cottleville and trails in the park. The 10k includes strolling through the St. Charles Community College campus. Park in the large parking lot and look for the picnic tables by dog park to register.

Event information
Legacy Park includes playgrounds, a dog park, 6 pavilions, athletic fields, trails, and a log cabin home. The parking lot has access to all these amenities. We will be registering at the picnic tables nearest the dog park. The trail includes a mix of sun and shade. Pets are welcome on the mostly paved trails and sidewalks in town. Water and restrooms available at the start.

Driving to the start
Legacy Park, 5490 Fifth Street, Cottleville, MO is located on Highway N just west of Cottleville City Hall. Registration and parking will be by pavilion by the dog park.
