Pedal through history on the Abandoned PA Turnpike, riding the iconic Rays Hill Tunnel (7K) and Sideling Hill Tunnel (23K). Enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience on the old concrete roadway, surrounded by stunning Appalachian scenery. The full 23K loop offers a satisfying challenge, while shorter options still let you ride through a tunnel. Along the way, discover stone tunnel portals and remnants of the old Turnpike. Watch for slick tunnel floors and scattered glass, and be sure to carry a spare tube, tools, and the knowledge to fix flats for a safe, unforgettable ride.

Event information
Important: Parking is limited. A flashlight or headlamp is required for the tunnels. Watch for broken glass along the route. Tunnel floors may be wet or slick, with hidden potholesride cautiously and be alert for pedestrians. Bicyclists must carry a spare tube, tools, and know how to repair a flat.
