Houston Heights calls it "a diverse small town community in the heart of Houston where neighbors and businesses thrive, children learn and play, and history lives. (http://www.houstonheights.org/)" We will be sampling this diversity. We will walk down the jogging trail in The the middle of Heights Blvd, past the World War II Plaza (a really neat monument), past historic homes and their markers. Then along White Oak Bayou for over a mile to enjoy the open air then into the neighborhood of the Heights to enjoy their homes, yards, and gardens.
