Walk along well-maintained trails and around a lake with fishermen, ducks and geese. At the end of the walk, enjoy a social event under the pavilion. You can purchase a hot dog with amenities (including mayonnaise), bag of chips and soda.

The event starts and ends under a pavilion by the Lions Park Lake. Restrooms are available at the start. The trails are well maintained and easy to walk.

Driving to the start
Southside Lions Park East, San Antonio, TX. at intersection of Pecan Valley Dr and Hiawatha St., San Antonio, TX. Go to Pavillion #2 for START/FINISH: Driving South on IH-37 past IH-10 intersection, turn LEFT on Pecan Valley Dr. Start looking for entrance to Southside Lions Park East on the right, Hiawatha St. is on the left. Turn RIGHT into park and immediately turn LEFT on Park Road. At "T" intersection, turn RIGHT. Follow Park Road on other side of Lions Park Lake to Start/ Finish at Pavillion #2 on right.
