Both 6 & 10k trails pass main academic area, Chapels, historic monuments, & athletic facilities . Magnificent views of Hudson River. The 10k trail includes the cemetery. There is a steep hill on the trails.

IMPORTANT! West Point is an active US Military facility. Access may be limited at any time due to security or operational concerns. Plan ahead! You MUST obtain a "Local Area Credential" (LAC) with a government issued REAL ID compliant drivers icense or passport before you obtain the LAC. It is good for a year. Refer to the website for the documentation and info you need to provide to the Visitor's Control Center ahead for your LAC. Review https://home.army.mil/westpoint/about/visitor-information. Walk during daylight hours only.
