Event information
Daily, 8:00 am to Dusk. Route now includes more of downtown Santa Barbara, including the Presidio of Santa Barbara, parks, and Santa Barbara City College. For those who still prefer a "beach walk," the previous trail that walks out and back along the Pacific Ocean-West Beach, Palm Chase Park, Stearns Wharf, & East Beach-is still available. Going up and down the hill to the Community College makes the primary route very difficult for wheelchairs. Those participants should consider the alternate beach route because of its safety feature. Just want a short walk in downtown Santa Barbara? A 5K ok.

Driving to the start box
28 West Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. From the south: Take US-101 into Santa Barbara. Take exit 96B Garden Street and turn left for 0.6 miles to Cabrillo Blvd. Turn right on Cabrillo for one block to the Harbor View on your right. From the north: Take US-101 into Santa Barbara. Exit at Castillo Street. Right on Castillo Street about two blocks to Cabrillo Blvd. Left on Cabriillo for two blocks to the start/finish on your left.
