Event comments
A club favorite! This walk takes you through Natural Bridges state park and then along the gorgeous Santa Cruz coast to the wharf; a classic California walk. The Monarch butterflies winter here in the eucalyptus grove sanctuary at Natural Bridges. Watch the surfers and enjoy beautiful views as you approach the Surfing Museum. You can extend the walk by venturing onto the Wharf to enjoy the barking seals!

Event information
A walk rating of 1A is available by avoiding the beach (sand). Restrooms are 500m from the walk start. There is also one just past the Surfer Museum across the road. Monarch butterflies are usually in residence between November and March. A great idea is to grab a sandwich to eat at one of the many picturesque picnic spots on the route.
