Event comments

PPSF Trail is rated 3 with some hills. It is on natural trail along a stream through a hemlock forest; some foot bridges. Birders can see a variety of species here. Rhodendron line the banks of Poplar "Lick" and are spectacular in bloom from the end of June through mid-July. Restrooms and water available near the start point but not along the trail.

Event information

Daily 8am-dusk. Pets are allowed in park. Park entrance fees are imposed only from Memorial Day to Labor Day PLUS cross-country ski-able weekends in the cold months. The new fees are as follows, and are per person not per vehicle: $2 per Maryland resident, $4 per non-Maryland resident, $0 per Golden Age Pass holder. Free for everyone the rest of the year.
