Event comments

Trails have paved and natural surface paths. NOTE: this is a wetlands park, so many natural paths will have muddy patches, even if it hasn't rained or snowed recently; even the paved trails will have puddles on occasion. The 5K trail is all paved and entirely inside the park. Both 10K trails employ natural paths,and will have restrooms in several places. The use of strollers will require additional care. Pets are not allowed inside the start point (market). Pets must be kept on a leash and cleaned up afterward.

Event information

Park is open 7AM to dusk daily. Walk during daylight hours. Driving directions are on top of walk directions. There is a $6 fee per vehicle to enter, unless you have an Anne Arundel County parks pass OR you have an active/retired military ID card. No credit cards will be accepted. Fee for IVV credit or non-IVV is $4.00. Children 12 and under walk for free (IVV-credit).
