You can drive to the Port of Bladensburg Park if you would like to start the ride half way and ride along the Anacostia River into DC. You can also take a quick detour into the Aquatic Gardens from the Anacostia River Trail

Event information
Daily dawn to dusk. Closed New Years Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas The trail is on a paved bike path along scenic Paint Branch and the Anacostia River. You can rent bikes from the College Park Metro. Once on the Anacostia River trail you have a 32 km contiguous loop you can bike on both sides of the Anacostia River.
