Stroll through historic Downingtown to view its many historic homes in architectural styles including Georgian, Federal, Bungalow, Conservative Italiante, and Queen Anne. Historic sites include the 1899 Friends Meeting House, the 1761 General Washington Inn, and the 1791 Log House. Explore some of the many parks and trails of Chester County. Downingtown also offers an array of restaurants and the Victory Brewing Company.

150 East Pennsylvania Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335 (610-873-8225). From west: Take the US-30 Bypass East to PA-113S. Turn right on East Pennsylvania Ave., then left on Green St. KIMBERTON WHOLE FOODS is in the shopping center on the right. From east: Take the US-30 Bypass West to PA-282/Wallace Ave. exit. Left on Norwood Road. Left on Rte 282/Wallace Ave. Cross Pennsylvania Ave. and left into Mill Town Square to Kimberton Whole Foods. (From the PA Turnpike, take PA-100S to turn right on PA-113S.) The box is located at the cash registers.
