The MD side start can easily be accessed by Metro Bus, There are no restrooms at this start, however there are rest rooms available at the gas station just across the mail road and along the trail. There are rest rooms if you start on the VA side and there are along the trail.

Event information
You can start this trail from either the Maryland or Virginia side of the WWBridge. The walk is almost all on paved surfaces but has some mild hills. Depending on distance and start point you will get great views of National Harbor, Alexandria, VA and some of DC including the Capitol and Washington Monument. You have the chance to walk through all the DMV jurisdictions on one walk.
