Event comments
Ride south from Craig Ranch Park to end of trail and return to finish (36K). Multiple turnaround points in directions for 10, 20 and 25K. You will traverse a series of pedestrian bridges with views of Las Vegas cityscape and surrounding mountains. Several parks along trail. There are a few at grade street crossings. Use crossing signals where they exist. North trail section from park is total of 11K out and back with several at grade crossings.

Event information
Comfortable ride on the paved linear trail adjacent to the Lower Las Vegas Wash, an urban river that carries excess water from the region into Lake Mead. DO NOT BIKE if rain is predicted or after heavy rain. Swift rainwater forms in adjacent flood channel quickly. Carry water, use sunscreen and avoid hottest part of the day.
