Event comments
All bike trails start at the foot of the nearly 100-year-old Conowingo Dam. The area below the dam is excellent for bird-watching. At least 170 species of birds have been observed and recorded at the dam including large groups of bald eagles, herons, and vultures. All trails are out-and-back on the old Philadelphia Electric Rail Trail along the Susquehanna River, one of the oldest rivers in the world.

Event information
Only bikers 12 years old and younger can bike free, courtesy of the Baltimore Walking Club. It is recommended that all bikers carry water with them. Most of the trail is shaded.
