Event comments
The walk takes you through the swamps and marshes of the state park. You will walk on natural paths passing trees dripping with Spanish moss.New in 2023! There will be a 5K option on the beach.

Event information
First Landing State Park has a parking fee, currently $7.00. Insect repellent and water are recommended. You will drive 3/4 of a mile to the Trail Center to start the walk. Exit the parking lot and cross Shore Drive at the signal light. You do not have to pay for parking again. Proceed up the hill to the parking lot.

Longitude, -76.051547.(757) 412-2300THIS OFFICE IS ON THE OCEAN SIDE OF SHORE DRIVE.Directions: From I-64, take Northampton Blvd.-U.S. 13 North (Exit 282). Go through eight lights, then turn right at the Shore Drive/U.S. 60 exit (last exit before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel). Take a right on Shore Drive and go four and a half miles to the park entrance. To reach the park office, camping or cabins, turn left off U.S. Rt. 60 at the stoplight. Pay the parking fee at the kiosk. Current fee is $7.00.
