Long description

Daily, dawn to dusk. The trail goes along city sidewalks through historic Moravian Bethelehem, through the campus of Moravian College, past Revolutionary War markers and sites. Walk through the Colonial Industrial Quarter, a center featuring pre-Industrial Revolution crafts, trades and workshops including the 1762 Waterworks, a National Historic Landmark. The walk also features a section of the Lehigh Canal on an island in the Lehigh River.

437 Main St., Bethlehem 18018 (610-625-5000). From the South: PA-309 N to PA-378 N to town. Exit to Main, hotel on Left. From the East: I-78 W to NJ Exit 3 (US-22 W). US-22 about 16 miles to PA-378 S. ** Take PA-378 Exit 3 (Center City), bear Left to 3rd, Left to Broad, Right at next light to Main. Hotel 2 blocks on right. From the West: I-78 E to Exit 51, US-22 E about 10 miles to PA-378 S. Follow ** above. N or S via Turnpike: I-476 to Exit 56 (Lehigh Valley), US-22 E to PA-378 S. Follow **directions. Parking Garages on Walnut off of Main (closest to hotel), Main/Union. Meters free on Sunday.
