Event comments
The Capital trail goes around the Shipoke area, by the Railroad Station, thru the State Capitol Complex, by the PA State Museum, along a portion of the Capital Area Greenbelt. The 10k crosses the Susquehanna River to City Island, and then returns to the start.

Event information
Walk during daylight hours. Lots of history to see and many new murals around town. The walk is entirely on paved surfaces. There are great views of the Susquehanna River. There is no fee for Guest walkers or children under 12. The Rovers pay these fees.

Driving to the start box
525 South Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104. 717-233-1611 From I-83 take the Second St Exit, go staight at first traffic light (Paxton St), then get into the left lane. Turn left at the next traffic light (Washington St). Turn left at Front St. and get into the far right lane. At the next traffic light, turn right into the Hotel Hanna on the River's parking lot.
