Driving to the start box
Off Hwy 115, across from Ft Carson Main Gate. I-25 S of Colorado Springs, Exit 135, Academy/Hwy 83. Go W [toward mountains] on Academy to Hwy 115, S (left). Traffic light at State Park Rd, turn right to Visitor Center. Ask at desk for Walk Box. Entrance requires Colorado State Park Pass, state park entrance with your vehicle registration, or daily pass @ $9.00 per vehicle.
