Event information
Old Wethersfield comprises the largest historic district in the state, which strongly evokes the period of the American Revolution. Both routes include a lovely cove off the CT River, with its 1600s warehouse, and the 10K now features a new recreational trail to a bridge over the river. Historical museums are in the Webb-Deane-Stevens homes (where George Washington and Rochambeau planned the final days of the Revolutionary War at Yorktown, VA in 1781) and at Keeney Memorial Cultural Center.
