This quaint village of old brick & log buildings is one of Western PA's most historically important places and its first National Landmark District.

Albany’s many historic buildings along the walk will give you a glimpse of how people lived over the years. The much more modern art and architecture are on display at the Empire State Plaza.

This Walk is so good it was voted "Best" in the USA a number of years ago.

The walk is through the historic city of Annapolis, capital of Maryland and home of the U.S. Naval Academy. This trail takes you to the Wardor Neighborhood and you can see the last tracks of B&A RR.

Wonderful woods walk, see the South River overlook and Visitors Center full of helpful information.

The Mall has many great stores, a large food court and a branch of the Anne Arundel Public Library.

Visit the buildings, monuments and statuary in the capitol complex then stroll thru a neighborhood of historical homes. Come in October to see them decked out for Halloween!

Daniel Boone lived here and walked to Richmond VA (the then capital). You don't have to walk that far to enjoy the Cultural, Recreational, and Business Capital of the Appalachian Mountains.

This delightful walk takes you along the Scioto River and you almost forget that you are just blocks away from urban life. Stop at Schmidt's in German Village for a delicious cream puff!

Take a walk in the capital city of Ohio - Columbus. This very popular walk takes in the charm of the historic neighborhood of German Village. The 10k includes a loop around the statehouse.

The Columbus, Ohio Metro area has a vast network of inter-connected bike trails. Many of these trails are already open and new sections are being added constantly.

Explore the downtown of Colorado's capital city, Denver.

The trail goes through the Capitol Gardens, around the Capitol and past several war memorials on the Capitol grounds. The walk tours the East Village, downtown and passes the Pappajohn Sculpture Park.

Dover is the Capital of Delaware. The walk includes Legislative Mall, The Green, Silver Lake Park, old Dover homes, Wesley college campus. There are 7 Veteran's Monuments!

Old Sacramento Treasures

This is a lovely, shady walk through the residential areas of Land Park, Curtis Park and Crocker Village.The Tile House stands out along the 10K walk. You will not want to miss this unique decorations

Enjoy the tree-lined streets of Elmhurst, one of Sacramento's older neighborhoods with homes from small and quaint to large and stately.

The Hidden Murals walk showcases the work of artists created for the Sacramento Mural Festival in the last couple of years. Many of the murals cover major portions of buildings up to four stories high

This walk has three 5K loops. One goes on the river levee & through South Land Park. Two goes through William Land Park, the zoo and Fairytale Town. Three goes through neighborhoods. Enjoy all 3

This walk takes you through the shady streets of East Sacramento to the rose gardens of McKinley Park.

Stroll along sidewalks and bike paths following Laguna Creek through several subdivisions. Enjoy these easy walks any time of year and expect to see a variety of birds, squirrels, and other critters.

The route is through new residential areas, lovely local parks, protected marshlands and waterways, and by the Natomas Center of American River College.

There are 5 and 10k routes through a lovely greenbelt and along the canal. Or there are 5 and 10k routes along the canal and the Sacramento River. Or walkers can take the 20k route and do it all!

Walk the pleasant and shady lanes of an affluent neighborhood. Sidewalks are few, so dress for visibility. Wheelchairs might have some difficulty when traffic forces one on shoulders.

This route follows a paved recreation trail, some sidewalks and paved roads.

Of the residential walks in Sacramento, this is the favorite with its overhanging Sycamore trees lining the streets providing lush shade.

ALERT - On weekends use the ER entrance by the parking garage to go to the front. M-F front entrance is open.

This popular walk will take you on paths along waterways to Riverfront Park bordering Willamette River. The State Capitol, Willamette Univ and the attractive Veterans Memorials are on both routes.
