Daniel Boone lived here and walked to Richmond VA (the then capital). You don't have to walk that far to enjoy the Cultural, Recreational, and Business Capital of the Appalachian Mountains.

The walk is a city and trail walk thru Collegeville, Trappe and the campus of Ursinus College. The walk goes thru Hunsberger Woods and passes the impressive Berman Museum which is free.

Etna is a charming 1860's ranching/mining town near the Pacific Crest Trail. Follow along a dirt trail with modest hills, along city streets, most without sidewalks, and through a park & cemetery.

The park is just north of the midpoint of the Appalachian Trail and has the AT Museum, a hostel, a historic chapel, and the General Store (ice cream challenge).

Eight flags have flown over the contested island. The city walk will captivate you with its variety of architectural styles, historical churches and buildings and quaint shops.

Colonial charm, shopping and restaurants along a beautiful downtown river walk. Pass historical homes, museums, antique shops, Hood College, resting place of Francis Scott Key, Hessian Barracks, etc.

Choose a 5k town walk in Gallup featuring Route 66, Navajo Code Talker Museum, historic buildings, and lots of murals. Ot hike the 5k Church Rock Trail at Red Rock Park 10 miles east of Gallup.

This is a delightful walk that will take you by many historic landmarks, and interesting businesses including Spaan's Cookie Factory.

Geneva is a historic town located on the Fox River. Both the 10k and 5k routes offer a scenic mix of local heritage and nature.

See Georgetown's historic downtown and courthouse, along with the scenic San Gabriel River.

This walk consists of three loops. If you do all three, you will see the campus of the Lutheran Seminary, area between the YMCA and Lincoln Square, and between the Seminary and the Virginia Monument.

If you only have the time to do one of the Gettysburg walks, this is the one we recommend. You will visit the Highwater Mark area, Visitor Center & Museum, and downtown Gettysburg.

This urban walk meanders through historical residential areas and offers a great view of the Columbus skyline. A stop at Jeni's for ice cream or coffee at Stauf's is highly recommended.

Independence is a small town but has a lot to offer in this walk. Located by the Willamette River, there are spectacular river views in its historic downtown. Inspiration Garden is not to be missed.

The walk is an out and back on The Armstrong Trail through Kittanning to Manorville. The Armstrong Trail goes along the east side of the Allegheny river and is part of the Erie to Pittsburgh Trail.

A new Veterans Memorial is on the 10k trail.
