Event information
Kent is primarily residential with some small industry and farms. There are a variety of shops, seven art galleries, antique shops and restaurants in the village center. Kent is also a perfect destination for a scenic fall drive. The walk goes by the private co-educational college preparatory Kent School campus, founded in 1906. A short drive from the Start Point on Rt. 7N are the Eric Sloane Museum with Kent Iron Furnace on its grounds and the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association museum (donation requested).
